Skully, world's smartest helmet
Technology is embedded into everything. So is was just a matter of time before our old-fashioned and dumb helmets became a bit smarter. Skully is an innovation which could be adopted by many of today’s motorcyclists.
The web is embracing the self-proclaimed smartest motorcycle helmet of the world. This because, with a month remaining, in its Indiegogo campaign, the so called AR-1 helmet has already raised $800,000. This is already three times more than it’s original funding goal. So the web loves it. But what is so special about this lifesaving helmet?
What about a rear-view camera and a “heads-up display”. This display shows informations as speed, directions, fuel levels and even caller ID. And yes all this information is in the drivers line of sight. The visor is fully scratch and fog free and can be used on a single charge for 9 hours. The helmet can also connect to your phone for music and navigation and has a memory for back-ups in case your phone doesn’t work.
