Will robotic bees need to save our planet?

Did you know that a third of our food depends on bee pollination? So when we see a decline in bee population we have an issue. This is why scientist from Harvard University are creating the first versions of robotic bees. These bees are created for rescue operations and for artificial pollination. But the development of the artificial bee has still a long way to go. And it not even near the bee we see in the video below. This video was created to raise more awareness about the decline in bee population and the effect is will have on our society.

Before we turn to artificial bees we have a bigger challenge and that is to save the natural counterpart of the robotic bee. I hope someday both will live in harmony?
