Darpa's robotic Cheetah
Named after the fast and famous animal: Cheetah. This running robot could scare the hell out of you. Designed for the American Military.
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is the science and developments organization of the American military. In cooperation with Boston Dynamics they build this robot Cheetah. It is able to run fast. It is able to run very fast and has even broke the record of fastest running robot with a speed of 13,1 MpH. The developers expect that Cheetah will become faster then the fastest human on the 100 meter sprint. Now it is running in a closed environment but image seeing this thing running in forest. That would scare the hell out of me!
