Bionic hands controlled with an iPhone
An American guy has two bionic hands which he controls on a special way with iLimb.
We hear it a lot of times: “There’s an app for that.” This remark shows that in a very short time we made app’s for almost anything. Of course all those app’s and technology have a bright side and a dark side. When we look at the dark side hackers have succeeded in hacking pacemakers and even airplanes. Allthough this last one is also being denied.
Is seems that in today’s world all you need to control your life is a smartphone with the right app’s. The man in the short video attached to this article thinks the same. He lost both of his hands in an accident and received two prostethic hands. These bionic hands are controlled by an app called iLimb. The software of iLimb can be programmed to do specific movements. So shacking hands is no problem.
We see the rise of bionic body parts and this is a solution for the people who lost body parts in for example accidents. But maybe in the future we will even replace or enhance our natural body with technology. What will this mean for security?
