Nokia's future eco phone

We kennen de LG versie al maar ook Nokia heeft een apparaat (concept) die tevens als telefoon kan dienst doen! Via kinetische energie laadt de telefoon zich op en hij is gemaakt van milieuvriendelijke materialen. De concept telefoon bevat RFID, is in staat om onze gezondheid te monitoren en kan door middel van sensoren de omgeving scannen. Tja, eigenlijk is het te mooi om waar te zijn en helaas is het ook nog een concept. Maar laten we eerlijk zijn. De toekomstige mobiele telefoon zullen we ons niet kunnen voorstellen. Deze is totaal anders als dat we nu denken.

Nokia Eco Sensor concept includes a wearable sensor unit that will house a number of optional sensors to monitor environment, health and local weather conditions, a dedicated mobile phone and a set of dedicated mobile software applications and services. The carrying strap made from solar cells will power the sensor unit and all the devices will "talk" to each other via low power near field radio technologies.
