Short movie: “The last generation to die”
Every generation is special in its own way. My generation, for example, may be the last generation that is mortal. If you look at the developments in health, we could be the last generation to die. Tim Maupin made a short movie on this theme.
Kickstarter projects come in all shapes and sizes. Projects differ from musical projects to works of art or the latest gadgets. For me it is always a great source of inspiration. This film by Tim Maupin struck me immediately. This director is crowdfunding a short film, which he called “ The last generation to die”. ” Well before the deadline he has collected twice the money needed.
The film is set in the future where the youngest generation cannot die of natural causes, because of a medical breakthrough. The film is fiction of coure, but what if it is true? What if the next generation, the children of our children, do not age? Then we can be one of the last generations who will die of old age. Think of what that would mean for our economy, our health, and our housing market to name a few. Each generation of the Earth would at least double teh amnout of people on the earth. You understand, I’m already looking forward to the film. And especially how Maupin this crowded Earth displays. His film could be reality in 50 years or so.
