A new dimension in mass communication or just a hoax? It seems not to be a hoax because organisations are able to give their interest in moonvertising from 20th of Juli till 20th of October.

With the help of robotics organisations can 'print' their logo on the surface of the moon. I find it a hard to believe and rather ridiculous idea. But moonpublicity says it has a higher purpose because it is also all about the preservation of our planet. With the money moon publicity gets new projects can be financed to save our planet. behind the idea is Kevin Kent Jones. he came with Shadow Shaping Technology which makes it possible to see advertiments on the moon.
Shadow Shaping technology is patent pending (Patent Application 61/150,054) that can be used to create images on the surface of the Moon that are visible from Earth. Practical uses for these images include advertising and even memorials. The moon is covered with a fine dust that can be compacted to create shadow patterns. Robots are used to create several small ridges in the lunar dust over large areas that capture shadows and shape them to form logos or else.
It still is an expensive 'joke. The price for 'moon publicity' is now set for 46.000 dollar.
