Identity management with augmented ID
Augmented ID is a concept which uses the great possibilities of augmented reality. The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) is behind this concept and this organization has a great name when it comes to innovation for mobile devices like the G1 phone.
The name Augmented ID tells you already everything. It is a combination of augmented reality and identity management. Sounds cool and that's what it is. Although it is still a concept I think this will become a normal service within a few years.
Most people have already a Linked In, Facebook, Hyves, LastFM etc. account. Some also have a weblog or are in other ways online active. With the concept of Augmented ID you are able to show you online identity by using augmented reality.
TThis is the future of identity management It also shows us how important it is to work on your online identity. This because soon everyone with a mobile device will get access to it. 'Online presence' is important for every individual.
