E-recruitement a participating business model
How does recruitment departments need to use new media to ensure their future? Here are some examples.
The economy is definitely rising and their is a shortage on talented people. Recently we informed you on a new Dutch concept, Sport-A-Job. A new job search engine with a twist, where all participants/visitors are becoming head-hunters. But Spot-a-Job isn't the only company that uses visitors of the search engine as possible head-hunters. In Belgium Xpertize.be is shaking-up the head-hunters/recruiting industry.
www.Xpertize.be, founded December 2006, uses networks with the power and speed of the Internet to hunt for talent. They have already been successful in filling positions and the total rewards are now up to 81.850 Euro's (90k dlrs). Not bad for a company that was recently founded.
The recruiting industry has always been a strange market. Generally speaking a recruiter earns around 25 to 30 percent of the annual salary of the candidate. A corporation will spend on average 20.000 Euro (30k dlrs) for any good candidate.

Xpertize.be and others are really changing the recruiting landscape. The concept is something really strong. It's based on no-cure, no-pay! And it employs a large network of people, that a single recruiting firm simply doesn't have. Let's face it, whenever I am looking for a candidate for my firm, I first try my own network and if it comes up empty, look for other means. In future, any job-opening will directly go to one of several on-line head-hunter networks such as Expertize.be.
Cedric van Kan, partner and founder of Xpertize.be, has been kind enough to supply me with a list of similar companies in various countries. So, if you are looking for new recruits, please consider this concept. It's a fair trade in which every-one involved is a winner...not just the recruiter!
