Everyone has impact on the future. What kind of impact? That's your choice. More than ever we need people who questions and challenges the existing world. People who make the change.
Man is unique, creative and is able to connect. But why do we lose this that often as we grow older? Let put ourselves in boxes and especially think of the things that we are not able of. I face it often when giving lectures. Comments like: ‘I’m just an individual, how I am supposed to make a difference.” Everyone can make a difference. This is what the beautiful example of John Goodenough shows.
John his life goals is that he wants to make himself less dependant on world fossil fuels. You might even mention the fossil addiction of world’s population. Therefore, it will make easy and cost effective renewable energy storable. Even though he is old, his spirit is still young and wants to have an impact to make a difference in our world. It is just wonderful to see how passionate someone is.
