3d print een realiteit in 2007

Print all the products you want simple at home. It is all possible with 3d printing and many think this will become the new revolution in the world. The first machines which are able to do 3d printing are for sale for just 1200 pounds.

The machine is called fabber (or Freedom fabricator) and is able to make 3d objects form a variety of materials. The machine is connected to a desktop computer running software that controls its operation. It creates objects layer-by-layer by squeezing material from a mechanically-controlled syringe. This technology can have, and will have, huge impact on the fabrication proces. In the future we will all buy our stuff online and get it by printing it 3d at home. So why bother to go to the store. Even post isn't necessary. Of course the products are limited in their size because the machine is as large as a microwave oven. But scientist will find someting on that :-). 3D printing will have the future. Sooner then you think.
